Vets4Vision 2030:

The Opportunity

Thousands of Soldiers will be returning from the current Yemen conflict with limited paths to deploy their experience into productive programs that help them not only re-integrate into society, but more importantly allow them to thrive with skills required to succeed in todays quickly changing world.

Servicemen are trained to think quickly on their feet and use strong leadership skills to excel in combat situations, and these are the same characteristics that make up great entreprenurial leaders which lead many the largest companies in the S&P 500.

Saudi Arabia will change the paradigm for its veterans with the current transformation occuring across the country. Drawing on two of the key objectives of Vision 2030, to create a diversified economy and thriving society, a strong program to give veterans a path to entrepreneurial training and success will continue to cement the countries commitment to its servicemen while also positioning the kingdom as the leader in the arab world for veteran rehabilitation and best practice.

Core Concept

March Hare created a post-service rehabilitation platform for Saudi military personnel returning from the Yemen conflict.

Providing a combination of entrepreneurial leadership programmes, vocational training, veterans connectivity, community engagement and competitive sports. With the key objective to leverage their talents, patriotism and skills in support of the goals of Vision2030.

Vets4Tech

Drawing on the Kingdom's desire to establish 4th industrial revolution companies and attract the big names in technology to the Kingdom, there exists an opportunity to provide training for Saudi veterans to develop a range of practical skills required in the technology and software industries.

Supportive Ecosystem

By leveraging existing customer relationships with defence contractors like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon plus investment relationships with US tech giants like Google, Apple, Facebook, Uber, Boston Dynamics the Kingdom can create inspiring exchange, learning and mentoring opportunities with some of the world's leading tech companies and use those skills to help advance the Kingdom's own tech evolution.

Veteran City

Create a new integrated, purpose-designed and built urban community zone where veterans can be accommodated and their mental, physical care and career development managed in a serene and specially designed campus-style environment.

Veteran City will be the platform to prepare them to re-enter the community as productive and stable members of Saudi's forward-looking society and to make their contribution to delivering the goals of Vision 2030.
